Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves assisting physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images of the heart, peripheral vessels, and other structures. The technologist will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting cardiac catheterization equipment, preparing the procedure room, and delivering patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
**Schedule:** Rotating shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Science program, special procedures program, or professional nursing school
- Completion of a cardiac catheterization training course
- Certified in Radiation Therapy or Radiology through ARRT
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI
- Scrubbing experience within a Cath Lab or Interventional Lab
- At least 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular specialist position
Additional Information
Candidates must have scrubbing experience within a Cath Lab or Interventional Lab. The role encompasses daily room preparation, equipment operation, clinical data documentation, and patient care before, during, and after procedures. Prior experience with system systems such as Witt, HeartLab, ICE, and IVUS is preferred. The position requires attention to detail and adherence to radiation safety protocols and sterile techniques.
