Unit Details

  • Number of Beds: 272 in hospital, 2 Cath suites
  • Number of Staff: 5 Techs, 6 RN's
  • Day Shift: 3-5 Techs, 2-4 RN's
  • Night Shift: on call
  • Patient Ratios: n/a
  • Type of Equipment: 2 suites with Phillip's equipment
  • EMR: Meditech and Mac Lab experience

Required Skills

  • Minimum 6 months' current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
  • BLS & ACLS
  • ARRT (R)
  • RCIS or RCES
  • If they have the RCIS or RCES, they must be willing and able to apply for register as a Fluorosity Operator in Colorado with DORA before they start working

Preferred Skills

  • ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
  • EP Scrubbing experience
  • Prior Meditech experience

Typical Procedures

  • Basic Cath Lab Skills, scrubbing and monitoring
  • Conscious Moderate Sedation

Unit Guidelines/Policies

  • On call requirements: 7-8 Days of Call/Month, including one weekend
  • Rotating Nights of call and weekends are required
