Job Summary
The CT Technologist will support diagnostic imaging services by performing computed tomography (CT) procedures and producing accurate assessments. This role requires strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude to manage equipment and collaborate effectively with radiologists and patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evenings shift; 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Advanced practice training and current credentialing: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT))
- Ability to work with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically Meditech
- Skill set to operate required imaging technology, with experience preferred in GE equipment and Meditech
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Technologist in Tomography (RT (T))
- American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and/or Fellow of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (FASRT)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT Scan, MRI, body scanner, and X-Rays
- Create images of bones, organs, and tissues to support accurate picture assessment
- Dress code allows scrub color to be chosen
