Job Summary
The medische surgical neurology floor registered nurse position is located in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within a neurology-focused medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details
Shift Time: Rotating Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of nursing experience with neuro patient care
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- Neuro nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted in work history if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on a medical-surgical neurology floor
- Familiarity with neuro-specific procedures and protocols
- Previous experience in a hospital setting
Additional Information
No call requirement; every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed.
