Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Clinical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology on the outpatient infusion unit in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, with a focus on patient assessment, education, and care coordination in a hospital setting.
Schedule
M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
Specialty Requirements
- Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Experience: 2+ years chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusion experience preferred
- Outpatient infusion experience in oncology, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy required
- Familiarity with healthcare standards, patient education, discharge planning, complex patient care, and safety management
