Job Description

This Emergency Room (ER) unit boasts the latest in cutting-edge technology as well as a compassionate and effective patient care model. Centered in beautiful Southern California, Adventist Health Simi Valley has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1965. Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI from approved vendor)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Crisis management certification (TEAM, TEAM-A, or CPI)
• Registered Nurse, ER
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI): Required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required

Additional Information

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
