Overview
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of direct, consecutive pediatric cath lab experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level I Pediatric Trauma, Level II Trauma acute care hospital.
Facility Information
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 615 staffed beds
- Designated as a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center
- Cath Lab unit serving primarily adult patients with pediatric cases as well
- Daily caseload of 7–20 cases per technologist
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required on an as-needed basis
- No weekend requirement
- Charting via Cerner
- No floating to other units or sister facilities
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of direct, consecutive pediatric cath lab experience — this is non-negotiable; incidental pediatric exposure does not qualify
- Current BLS certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Pending state licenses are not accepted
- Cerner experience preferred
- Must be available for on-call shifts as needed
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates will not be considered
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs in any color are acceptable
- Block scheduling availability may be discussed during the interview process
- Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
