Job Summary

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • California licensure in hand
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year of hospital experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a children's hospital
  • Pediatric outpatient experience
  • Pediatric rehabilitation facility experience
  • PICU setting experience

Additional Information

Experience with acute care, outpatient pediatrics, developmental delays, pediatric assessments, and therapy for language and communication disorders are highly valued. Skills include assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders, use of alternative communication devices, evaluation of modified barium swallow studies, and working with various pediatric populations including those with developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system is required or preferred.

Start date is 07/20/2026, with orientation registration at 4:00 pm PST on the Monday prior to the start date. RTO (Request for Time Off) requests disclosed at the time of submittal require manager approval and cannot be within the first two weeks of employment. Resources may be reassigned within a 75+ mile radius as needed during the assignment. Modules are non-billable and range from 1 to 24 hours, completed pre-start and annually.

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
