About the role
We're looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to shape the look, feel, and usability of Comm 360 — from the landing page to the core product. You'll work directly with the founder to design intuitive, polished experiences for an AI-first meeting platform. This is a hands-on role where you'll own the end-to-end design process and have real impact on how users interact with Comm 360.
Location: Remote or San Francisco (flexible)
Duration: May – September 2026 (flexible start date with potential to extend)
Time Commitment: 20-40 hours/week
Compensation: Unpaid (with potential for full-time conversion)
What you'll do
- Design and iterate on UI/UX for the Comm 360 web app and landing page
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Translate product ideas and user needs into clean, intuitive interfaces
- Collaborate with the founder and engineering to ship design work
- Establish and maintain a consistent visual design system
- Conduct lightweight user research and incorporate feedback into designs
- Improve existing flows based on usability insights
What we're looking for
- Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools)
- Good understanding of design principles, typography, and layout
- Ability to think through user flows and edge cases
- Attention to detail and a high bar for visual polish
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Interest in startups, AI, and building products from the ground up
Nice to have
- Experience with design systems or component libraries
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end development
- Motion design or prototyping experience
