Scope of Work
- Perform basic ultrasound procedures.
- Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered sonographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
- Obtains a complete patient history prior to performing an ultrasound procedure.
- Operates ultrasound equipment competently to provide quality diagnostic studies that meets the requirements of established ultrasound protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of relevant experience; must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program (Preferred)
- AHA OR ARC (BLS) Basic Life Support upon hire (Required)
