About the role

This internship program offers a 10-to-12-week opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry. Interns contribute to projects, receive mentorship from leaders, and participate in professional development sessions. The program is designed to help students build skills and explore potential career paths at Williams.

What you'll do

• Develop an understanding of core business operations and key assets.
• Gather and analyze real-time data to identify efficiencies and support asset maintenance.
• Collaborate with teams across various operating areas to reach enterprise goals.
• Contribute to major projects and capital expansions.
• Follow and support company values.
• Work a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with potential for a hybrid schedule.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Industrial, or Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
• A valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for the summer.
• Note that this position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.

Location & details

• Locations: Tulsa, OK; Houston, TX; Salt Lake City, UT.
• Term: Summer 2027.
• Compensation includes an hourly wage, accrued sick pay, medical benefits, and 401(k) eligibility.
• A $2,500 housing stipend is provided, with additional relocation assistance available for those moving more than 50 miles from their home and school address.
