Animal health and wellness is our number one priority. We are seeking a new Veterinarian Assistant to join our team.
Your role will include assisting with animal care for office visits. As a member of our Veterinarian technician and assistant department, you will work with our veterinarians and other support staff and report to our Office Administrator.
What You Will Do Feed and provide water to animals at regular intervals throughout the day Groom and bathe animals Sterilize equipment and regularly clean examination areas Handle and sooth animals during examinations, treatments, and vaccinations Record relevant information about animals, including weight and types of medication given Advise owners of pets about caring for their animals at home
Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills: High school diploma or GED Veterinary Assisting Animal Care Why You'll Love Us Small and friendly workplace where everyone loves animals Modern updated surgical suite In-house laboratory Digital and dental radiography 3 exam rooms Full in house pharmacy No on call or of hour emergencies Electronic medical records
