About the Role
In this internship role, you will assist with editing short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn, aligning visuals, audio, and branding with current events and trends. You will also assist with in-person filming and content creation. Tasks include organizing footage, selecting clips, adding captions or on-screen text, and preparing assets for posting. You may also help with simple graphic elements, content scheduling support, and performance monitoring to learn what resonates with audiences.
Qualifications
- Skills in video production and video editing, with the ability to assemble engaging short-form content.
- Basic proficiency in video color grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Experience or coursework in motion graphics and graphics to create simple on-screen elements, overlays, and titles.
- Familiarity with common editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Canva, or equivalent).
- Interest in social media trends, short-form video platforms, and sports or fantasy sports culture.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to receive and apply feedback.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
- Current student or recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g., Film, Media, Communications, Design) or equivalent self-taught experience is welcome.
