About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Web Ops Full Stack Intern to join our Web Operations team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of web applications and websites. You'll gain hands‑on experience across the full stack while learning modern Web Ops practices, including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and performance optimization. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who are eager to build real‑world software engineering experience in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining front‑end and back‑end web applications.
- Support website deployments, updates, and production releases.
- Troubleshoot website issues and help resolve bugs and performance problems.
- Collaborate with the Web Ops team on deployment, monitoring, and operational improvements.
- Work with cross‑functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Design, QA, and Marketing, to deliver high‑quality web experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Contribute to automation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor website performance and help identify opportunities for optimization.
- Learn and apply secure coding and web operations best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one front‑end framework such as React.
- Basic understanding of a back‑end language such as Node.js or Python.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of REST APIs and basic database concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI.
- Basic knowledge of Docker or containerization.
- Experience with Linux command‑line tools.
- Understanding of website performance optimization and web security fundamentals.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
