11th annual internship

We’re SO EXCITED for another year filled with weddings, engagements, proposals, seniors, team hangs + edits seshs, and moooore!!!! Our goal for this year is to make it the most catered experience to YOU, our interns looking to learn + grow in whatever their niche and passion is. This’ll be a season packed with so many portfolio-building opportunities, coaching and 1:1 mentoring, and as the season progresses we will make sure you are checking off your goals AND setting new ones.

We’re SO excited to announce our 2026 internship program!!!! This program is designed for photographers of any skill level. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your craft, we meet you where you are and help you grow.

As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in posing, directing, shooting, and client relationship building. You’ll also learn the ins and outs of marketing, advertising, branding, workflow, social media, and more! (Yes, really—MORE!). The program includes 1:1 mentorship sessions and business coaching, both during and after the internship.

DETAILS

Eligibility:

• Open to ages 16+
• Must reside in the Minneapolis/suburb area
• This is an unpaid internship (except if you are eligible for wedding day second shooting roles which are assigned and paid DOE. Attendance as an assistant is unpaid)

Key Dates:

• Applications open: Monday, January 26, 2026
• Application deadline: Friday, February 13, 2026, by 9:00 PM CST

ATTENDANCE

• Senior Sessions: select Mondays-Wednesdays

~8:00 AM–10:30 AM and ~5:30 PM–8:30 PM (June-September) Weekly commitments may vary and be less based on workload; evening times are adjusted according to daylight and season.

• Weddings: Select Fridays and Saturdays

June–October, 8-10 hour coverage days

I'm Saige!

I'm not even kidding when I say I look forward to this internship application process EVERY YEAR! It's like... I'm about to find my new bff for the summer and we get to talk photography every day and shoot every day and just have so much fun... EVERY DAY!!!!! Needless to say, this opportunity is amazing for anyone passionate about photography and wanting to get hands-on experience and coaching. I'll teach you everything I WISH I knew at earlier stages. I'll help you through your photography journey regardless of what stage you're at right now :)
