2027 Spring Externship Session

Applicants accepted into this program will assist their supervising prosecutors with tasks including trial preparation, research for legal hearings and briefs, listening to jail calls, reviewing crime scene videos and audio, and participating in witness and law enforcement interviews. You will get a first-hand view of what a prosecutor’s job entails in Dallas County. These positions are unpaid.

Please contact your law school for stipend or fellowship opportunities. Placement for interns is determined by the need of the office and the skills of the intern. While we take the interest of the intern into consideration for placement, we cannot guarantee that the intern will get their desired division.
