About the Summer Associate

Role Our 2027 Summer Associate Program is designed to provide law students with a meaningful and authentic glimpse into life at a busy defense firm. From day one, you’ll work directly with partners and associates, gaining substantial legal experience and contributing to real casework that makes a difference. Students may join us for the first half, the second half, or the full summer.

Summer Associates will: Draft and revise legal documents Conduct legal research on DBA and Litigation matters Review discovery materials, claims documents, and medical records Prepare for and observe hearings, depositions, mediations, and strategy meetings Take part in client communications and case preparation In addition to hands-on legal work, our Summer Associates gain a genuine understanding of our culture. You’ll be encouraged to connect with attorneys at all levels, explore different practice areas, and choose assignments that interest you. We also host a variety of social and professional events throughout the summer, giving you the chance to build relationships and see what it’s like to be part of our firm outside of day-to-day work.
