Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company of Delaware, N.A., is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware. Through these national trust companies, BBH offers personal trust services throughout the United States. In addition, we offer offshore fiduciary services to non-U.S. clients through multiple offices, including Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company (Cayman) Limited, with offices in Grand Cayman.

Together, the BBH Trust Companies oversee personal trust assets and engage in a full range of fiduciary services. These services include: Review and analysis of estate plans Trust administration, from simple living trusts to complicated tax-driven estate planning vehicles Specialized retirement planning Charitable foundation services Tax return preparation Why build a career in Trust? This unique career path provides exposure to finance, law, and wealth management while helping families preserve and transfer wealth across generations. What can you expect from an Internship with The Trust Company? Support day to day activities of a dedicated client base and ensure client needs are being met and that BBH services are properly delivered Assist with trust administration activities and account reviews Support onboarding of new trust relationships and account openings Analyze client information to help prepare materials used in decision-making discussions Partner with relationship managers, trust officers, investment professionals, and tax specialists Learn how fiduciary decisions are made and communicated to client A Typical Day May Include: Joining a team meeting to discuss client needs Reviewing trust account activity with experienced professionals Preparing materials for client conversations Collaborating with colleagues across trust, tax, and investment teams Attending professional development sessions with leaders across BBH What BBH’s Trust Company looks for in an Intern: Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027 with a background in and passion for finance, business, or investing Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.3 or higher Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities Effective communication skills, written and verbal Strong understanding of asset management industry and security markets (equities and fixed income) Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem Ability to prioritize competing demands Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, i.e. customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas Ready to Apply?
