Accounts Payable Associate | Direct Hire | Plano, TX/Dallas, TX Metro Area | Up to $67K Annual/$32/hr Location: Plano, TX | Dallas–Fort Worth Metro Area Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Work Arrangement: Hybrid/On-Site Compensation: Up to $67K Base/$28-32/hr Job Description The Reserves Network is partnering with an established organization in the Plano, Texas / Dallas–Fort Worth Metro area seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join its accounting team. This position will play an important role in supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting with general accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities - Process, review, and accurately code vendor invoices for payment. - Coordinate payment processing and ensure invoices are paid accurately and on time. - Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies. - Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation. - Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries. - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. - Support account reconciliations and other general accounting functions as needed. - Assist the Controller and accounting team with additional projects and responsibilities. - Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and overall efficiency.

Qualifications - Previous experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting support. - Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment procedures, and basic accounting principles. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues independently. - Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within an accounting team. - Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
