About the role
A Stipend Coach serves as the head coach for an after-school sports team for a 6-8 week season. Coaching opportunities include elementary: soccer and middle school: boys/girls basketball, boys/girls soccer, coed flag football, coed cross country. The expected hours vary by school as shown in the tables below. Stipend Coaches will be assigned to a school based on staffing needs and availability.
Role and Responsibilities
A Coach serves as a head coach for an elementary school soccer or middle school sports team for a 6-8 week season. This includes preparing activities, leading practices, and managing player rotations during games.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Meet at least one of the below qualifications
- BSD Staff who are unable to get Activity Pay through the school
- College student
- Previous Jubilee REACH volunteer (or similar experience)
- Recommendation from a member of the Site Coach Leadership Team and Executive Director approval
