About the job
At Red Hat, we believe open unlocks the world’s potential—and AI is no exception. Our AI Ecosystem team works across product, partner, and field organizations to help customers realize the full value of open source AI solutions. This summer, we’re looking for a motivated AI Ecosystem Intern to join our Boston-based team and help shape how Red Hat and our partners bring AI to market.
In this role, you will explore real-world AI opportunities by engaging directly with Red Hat partners and customer-facing teams. You’ll investigate critical customer AI use cases, map them to Red Hat’s AI platform and ecosystem capabilities, and identify potential partner motions to enhance our go-to-market (GTM) approach.
What you will do
- Conduct interviews with Red Hat partners, solution architects, and field sales teams to uncover the most pressing customer AI use cases
- Analyze and synthesize findings to identify patterns, opportunities, and gaps in AI adoption
- Map customer needs to Red Hat’s AI platform, open source technologies, and partner ecosystem capabilities
- Recommend possible partner engagement strategies and motions that complement existing GTM efforts
- Prepare and present a final report with recommendations to AI Ecosystem leadership
What you will bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, business, or a related field (expected graduation date December 2026 or later)
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative input
- Interest in AI/ML technologies and understanding of enterprise technology trends
- Excellent communication skills, especially in conducting interviews and presenting insights
- Self-starter mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
- Familiarity with open source software and Red Hat solutions is a plus
What you will gain
- Firsthand exposure to enterprise AI use cases and the open source AI landscape
- Experience working at the intersection of technology, partners, and business strategy
- Mentorship from Red Hat AI, partner, and GTM leaders
- Opportunity to make strategic recommendations with real business impact
