About the Role
Oceaneering is seeking an AI Governance Intern to support the governance, delivery, operation, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the enterprise. This internship provides exposure to AI governance frameworks, AI risk management, responsible AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI system reviews, AI adoption, and emerging AI technologies. The intern will work alongside the AI Governance team to help operationalize Oceaneering's AI Management System and support responsible AI at scale.

What You Will Do
- Support AI system intake reviews and governance assessments.
- Assist with AI System Scorecard preparation and maintenance.
- Research AI governance frameworks, standards, regulations, and emerging practices.
- Analyze AI risks, controls, and governance documentation.
- Help maintain AI inventories, governance records, and reporting metrics.
- Prepare dashboards, presentations, meeting materials, and status updates.
- Support AI literacy, communication, and adoption initiatives.
- Participate in governance workshops, AI reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Document governance requirements, procedures, and lessons learned.
- Assist with AI governance platform and workflow improvement activities.

Required
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing:
- Information Systems or Computer Science
- Data Analytics
- Related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
Preferred
- Interest in AI, governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or data governance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or generative AI tools.
- Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, or Power Automate.
- Coursework related to technology, risk management, policy, project management, business or engineering, or legal studies.
