Artificial Intelligence Engineering Intern

Assist in designing, building, and testing AI agents and agentic workflows using AWS Bedrock, Strands, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) Develop and prototype AI-powered web applications and internal productivity tools Build and evaluate RAG pipelines, including data ingestion, embedding, retrieval, and quality evaluation Integrate large language models (LLMs) with enterprise data sources, APIs, and business systems Support prompt engineering, solution testing, and systematic evaluation of AI outputs Write clean, well-documented code Participate in code reviews and design discussions Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions Gain hands-on experience taking AI solutions from prototype to production on a modern cloud stack

Requirements In-process of a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, or a related discipline Proficiency in Python Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI concepts, or prompt engineering Understanding of REST APIs and integrating third-party services Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Shure will not sponsor applicants for work visas

Experience with JavaScript/Type Script is a plus Exposure to RAG, vector databases, or embeddings is a plus

Experience with a cloud platform (AWS or Azure) is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in a collaborative, hybrid team environment Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in designing and building AI agents and workflows, with proficiency in Python and familiarity with large language models.
