Audit and Assurance Intern - Summer 2028

This 8-week internship will start in June 2028 and end in late July 2028. The role is in-person in our office in St.

Louis, MO.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #5e1b50; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219);"><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Conduct audits of client company financials to ensure compliance with GAPP and other accounting standards</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist with determining appropriate audit methodology </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist with performance of risk assessments</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies, and applicable laws</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Perform other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Your Qualifications:</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Must be enrolled in an accounting, finance, or related curriculum at the junior level or higher (Graduating December 2029 or earlier)  </span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Plan to pursue CPA</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Minimum 25+ hour work week required</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">When you join our team, you’re an integral part of a dynamic culture with opportunities to make a real impact on clients, colleagues, and our community.
