Join Oceaneering International's Corporate IT DBA & Middleware team as an Azure AKS DevOps Intern- IT. You will design, implement, and support off‑the‑shelf applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Helm charts, while gaining hands‑on experience with cloud container orchestration, monitoring, and middleware integration in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
- Assist in deploying and managing containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Helm charts for application releases.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design scalable cloud architectures.
- Monitor cluster health, performance, and security using Azure tools.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes.
- Document configuration, procedures, and best practices for Kubernetes environments.
- Participate in incident response and root‑cause analysis for container‑related issues.
- Help enforce compliance with corporate security and governance policies.
- Provide technical support to internal teams using the deployed applications.
- Stay current with emerging cloud and container technologies and recommend improvements.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Fundamental understanding of Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
- Basic knowledge of containerization concepts (Docker) and Kubernetes architecture.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience writing or modifying Helm charts is a plus.
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and contributing to a collaborative environment.
