What You'll Do As a BCG Platinion IT Architecture intern, you will work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technology challenges, shape recommendations, and help design and implement technology transformations. While you will join the Arch. chapter, your project experience may span adjacent capabilities across BCG Platinion, including engineering, data, AI, cybersecurity, product and technology transformation, depending on client needs. What you may work on: Enterprise Architecture & Modernization Assess complex application and technology landscapes Identify modernization opportunities across applications, cloud, data and platforms Help define target-state architectures and pragmatic transformation roadmaps Cloud, platform & engineering Support cloud and platform architecture decisions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Evaluate scalability, resilience, performance, cost and developer experience trade-offs Contribute to application modernization and integration design Data, AI & emerging technology Explore modern data architectures and AI-enabled solutions Design and test proofs of concept, including GenAI and agentic use cases Evaluate technology choices for feasibility, governance, security and business value How you will create impact: Turn strategy into architecture Translate business requirements into technology capabilities and architecture decisions Develop architecture options, decision frameworks and recommendations Connect technical choices to business value, cost, risk and speed to market Work with clients and multidisciplinary teams Collaborate with client architects, engineers, product leaders and executives Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences Support workshops, architecture reviews and technology decision-making Work across Architecture chapter and adjacent Platinion capabilities based on project needs Move from recommendation to execution Create architecture artifacts, roadmaps and implementation plans Support proofs of concept and early implementation activities Help clients navigate major technology transformations, including modernization, platform, data and M&A programs This internship provides explore to the full architecture journey - from framing the business problem and assessing the current landscape to defining target architecture and enabling implementation.

What You'll Bring Qualifications: Master's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, business management, engineering management or system controls & engineering or a related field Graduating between December 2027 and July 2028 Ideally 2+ years of professional experience in technology consulting, software engineering or related field Superior technical knowledge, engineering rigor Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure unfamiliar problems, work within complete information, and develop evidence-based conclusions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences A growth and learning mindset and desire to keep up to date on the latest technology and tools Willingness to travel to work with clients and…
