Biostatistics and Research Intern, Health Economics & Data Science

Support the HEDS team in conducting quality assurance tests for budget impact and cost-effectiveness models Work on systematic data standardization, review and collection to support economic models Develop tools to enhance quality assurance, quality planning and submission readiness activities Support benchmarking activities for deliverables Develop a capstone presentation illustrating internship activities and deliverables Engage with various levels within the HEDS organization to participate in and/or lead work streams or projects supporting health economic development

Requirements Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in a science-related discipline Must be available to work full-time in a hybrid capacity for 10-12 weeks beginning in May or June 2027 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Oral and written communication skills in an international environment Organizational skills Teamwork and leadership skills Ability to analyze, interpret and solve problems Ability to think with creativity and innovation Ability to proficiently interact with all levels of specialists and management Knowledge and experience in economic evaluation of medical interventions Expertise and solid hands-on experience in the conceptualization, design, development and dissemination of health economic model approaches to enable internal and external decisions Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in economic evaluation of medical interventions and the development of health economic models, alongside strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills necessary for effective collaboration in a hybrid work environment.
