Brand Design Intern Pearl & Paw | Chicago / Remote-Friendly | Internship Stipend: $500 Pearl & Paw is a small but fast-growing pet celebration brand creating premium, design-forward treats for dogs and cats. Within 6 months, we’ve grown into 100+ independent retailers, and we’re now looking for a highly creative design intern to help us bring the next evolution of the brand to life. We already have a strong brand foundation and visual guidelines.

Now comes the fun part. We’re looking for someone who can take what we’ve built and expand it into a richer visual world—through illustration, packaging, storytelling, digital design, and all the little details that make a brand feel special. What You’ll Work On You’ll have the opportunity to help shape real creative work that will be used across Pearl & Paw, including: Evolving our existing visual identity and brand guidelines Developing illustrations, patterns, icons, and other ownable brand elements Designing packaging and bringing it to life for Birthday, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and future collections Creating packaging mockups and preparing designs for production Translating the visual identity across our website, Instagram, TikTok, email, and other digital touchpoints Helping develop photography and photoshoot art direction You’ll get to see your work move beyond a class project or concept deck, your designs have the potential to become real packaging, real campaigns, and real products sitting on retail shelves.

Who We’re Looking For Creative and excited to bring ideas to the table Strong in graphic design and visual storytelling Comfortable with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools Able to create original illustrations and graphic elements Interested in branding, packaging, consumer products, or e-commerce Students seeking academic/school credit are especially encouraged to apply. We’re happy to work with your school’s internship requirements where possible .
