Bunk Wellness Specialist (Live-On required)
Reporting to the Bunk Head, the Bunk Wellness Specialist supports the emotional, social, and behavioral well-being of campers within their assigned age group. They provide guidance, counseling support, and crisis response for campers experiencing homesickness, emotional challenges, interpersonal conflict, or other stress-related needs. The Bunk Wellness Specialist collaborates with Bunk Heads, Bunk Counselors, and Health & Wellness staff to develop and implement behavior and accommodation plans and provide individualized support and training to staff. They will coordinate and manage telehealth appointments and scheduling, communicate with caregivers as needed, and operate as the Bunk Head on Days Off. This is a live-on position; the Bunk Wellness Specialist lives in a shared bunk with other adult staff. Preferred Qualifications include pursuit of a mental health, psychology, behavioral, social work, or counseling degree or licensure pathway (or comparable experience), 21+ years old, and previous experience supporting youth in educational, camp, or counseling-adjacent environments.
