At Pw. C, our audit and assurance team provides independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls. Within internal audit, we help clients build, optimize, and deliver end-to-end services, using AI and risk technology. As a Business Process Consulting Intern, you'll join a dynamic environment supporting teams in conducting internal audits and evaluating organizational controls.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll support teams in conducting internal audits and evaluating internal controls. Your work will involve analyzing and interpreting financial statements using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), assisting with Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards, and engaging in business process improvement initiatives. You'll use data visualization techniques to present audit findings, collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to project management, apply IT audit methodologies, conduct risk analysis, and assist in report writing.

Who You Are

You're currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree and are in your third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program. We prefer candidates with a major in Accounting, Accounting & Technology, Accounting & Finance, Management Information Systems & Accounting, or Business Administration/Management. A GPA of 3.3 or above is preferred. You should demonstrate proficiency in Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards, excel in Business Process Improvement and Data Analysis, utilize GAAP and GAAS, support internal and IT audit tasks, and develop skills in Project Management and Stakeholder Management. Leveraging AI to create efficiencies is a plus. You'll embrace a learning mindset, appreciate diverse perspectives, listen actively, seek and give feedback, analyze information from multiple sources, and build commercial awareness.

What We Offer

The salary range for this position is $29.25 - $48.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. This is a summer internship (Summer 2027) based in Rosemont, Illinois. Travel up to 80% may be required.
