Camp Counselor

We are seeking staff members to join us for the upcoming camp season.

All potential staff members must:

• Be caring, compassionate, honest and hardworking.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Have experience with or a desire to be a part of a Christian community.
• Have experience with or an interest in working with special needs youth and adults.
• Have experience working with children, and references to support this experience.
• Be comfortable living and working in a rustic summer camp environment, and be willing to participate in all aspects of camp life: walking long distances, building campfires, sleeping outdoors, using outhouses, swimming, boating, etc.
• Be interested and willing to work in a team environment.
• Be able to fully complete our week-long staff training period, and any other training necessary for the position requirements.
• Be able to commit to the full summer employment period, and scheduled days off.
• Undergo a thorough interview and reference process, and background check.

All positions include training, housing and meals for the duration of the employment period.

2026 Summer Camp Season Dates:

• June 7 - June 13: Staff Training
• June 14 - July 31: Camp Programs in Session
• DAY CAMP STAFF: June 24 - Aug 14
• ADVENTURE CAMP STAFF: Aug 15-21

Time Off:

• Each week staff are expected to arrive ready to work at 10 am on Sunday mornings, and we conclude most Fridays by 3 pm. Most staff are off from Friday afternoons through Sunday mornings.
• Counselors receive a 2-hour break (Mon-Thu).
• Kitchen & Maintenance staff are scheduled for no more than 40 hours weekly.

Salary Ranges:

• Counselors: Starting salary is $450/week, with increases for returners and trained lifeguards up to $500/week.
• Kitchen Staff: Starting salary is $450/week, with increases for returners and trained lifeguards up to $500/week.
• Supervisory Staff: Starting salary is $650/week, with increases for returners up to $1000/week.
