Ceramics Internship
The Ceramics internship is a 6-month position that provides emerging clay artists with professional experience in an active, public-access studio.
Working under the supervision of the Director of Ceramics, the intern gains an in-depth understanding of maintenance and operation of a variety of ceramics equipment, assisting in recycling clay, mixing glazes, firing kilns and working with clay artists of all levels.
Interns work 20 hours per week and should expect to lift up to 50 pounds in their regular duties.
A monthly stipend and studio access are provided.
Internship term runs from the beginning of August through the end of the year.
