Clean River Program Special Recovery Field Intern

The Clean River Program Special Recovery Intern will assist in physically removing trash from sites along the San Diego River that have been labeled as “Special Removal”. These sites include trash that may be buried, submerged, require dismantling, or may be large or bulky items requiring creative strategies to remove. For a complete intern description, click here.

Internships

San Diego River Park Foundation internships are educational, fun, and great resume-builders. Interns have the opportunity to see how an environmental nonprofit organization operates on a day-to-day basis as well as to participate hands-on in real-world projects that affect change in their communities.

Unpaid internships are available across many of our programs. The opportunities are a mix of office and field work. School credit is available, if offered by your learning institution.
