Little Friends For Peace offers internships for Fall and Spring semesters in addition to internships for summer Peace Camp. Interns will contribute to our organization by participating in both our peace programming and non-profit management roles.
LFFP seeks interns who are interested in our organization's mission, have the flexibility to work in a small non-profit, communicate well, and have strong time management skills. Internships for class credit are typically unpaid, but the LFFP leadership team and board are open to discussing compensation commensurate with experience.
LFFP staff and interns work in a hybrid setting — virtually, at programming sites, and in our Peace Room in the Perry Community Services Center.
Communications Internship
Interns will contribute to LFFP’s communications channels — social media, e-newsletter, impact review reports, email blasts, and/or our website — typically by creating materials on Canva or editing video. They will also contribute by assisting with other parts of the creative process such as labeling/sorting media, transcribing interviews, and tracking programming data. This position also includes service at our programming sites if the individual chooses to participate.
