Responsibilities and Requirements Big Opportunities. Small Company Feel. Corporate Functions Internship The Corporate Functions Internship offers students meaningful exposure to the teams that support the overall success and strategic direction of Reliance Matrix.

Depending on business needs, interns may support Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or other corporate functions.

What You'll Do Support department-specific projects and strategic initiatives Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting activities Assist with process improvement and team initiatives Participate in cross-functional collaboration opportunities Gain insight into organizational strategy and business operations Present project outcomes and recommendations to leaders at the conclusion of the internship Potential Areas of Exposure Marketing/Communications: Support brand, communications, campaign planning, content development, market research, and other projects that help promote business priorities and strengthen engagement with internal and external audiences. Finance: Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, expense tracking, and process improvement efforts that support informed business decisions and operational effectiveness. Human Resources: Support talent, employee engagement, learning and development, benefits, HR operations, and other initiatives that contribute to a positive employee experience and effective people practices.

Accounting: Assist with account reconciliations, journal entries, financial close activities, reporting, documentation, and process improvement efforts that support accurate and timely financial operations. What We're Looking For Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze information and think critically Interest in gaining broad business exposure within a corporate environment

As part of Reliance Matrix’s 10-week Summer Intern Program, running from June through August, you’ll gain exposure to our business, mission, and culture through both team-based work and program-wide experiences.

Interns follow Reliance Matrix’s enterprise three-day hybrid schedule, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays required in office, and should plan to participate for the full duration of the program. Along the way, you’ll join a collaborative team that values curiosity, growth, and hands-on learning while connecting with leaders and peers across the organization. Program highlights include professional development trainings, a senior leader speaker event, a corporate charity fundraising project, Reliance Matrix Foundation events such as a Philadelphia Museum of Art trip, and networking opportunities within Tokio Marine Group.

The expected hiring range for this position is $17.68 - $21.87 hourly for work performed in the primary location (Philadelphia, PA). This expected hiring range covers only base pay and excludes any other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

These ranges may be modified in the future. Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
