Kickstart your Legal Career with Pantheon Legal's Criminal Defense Internship Program

Program Overview

Are you an undergraduate or graduate student passionate about exploring a legal career? Pantheon Legal Group, PLLC is offering an unpaid internship for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2026 at our Fort Worth and Dallas offices. This opportunity is ideal for undergraduate and graduate students earning school credit and seeking hands-on experience in criminal defense law. We know firsthand how vital real-world experience is for aspiring legal professionals, and we’re excited to mentor the next generation of future attorneys.

Why intern with Pantheon Legal Group?

At Pantheon Legal, we believe in providing meaningful opportunities for students to develop critical legal skills and insight into the profession. As an intern, you’ll:

  • Visit clients in jail and assist attorneys in conducting interviews.
  • Observe trials and court proceedings to see the justice system in action.
  • Participate in case research, trial preparation, and drafting legal memos, motions, briefs, and more.
  • Shadow attorneys and learn firsthand how legal strategies are crafted.
  • Gain mentorship from experienced attorneys who started just like you—as students exploring their passion for law!

These experiences will help you better understand the legal field and strengthen your application to law schools, graduate programs, or other career opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, such as for a J.D. (Our Dallas office is only accepting currently-enrolled J.D. candidates or law school graduates at this time.)
  • Submit an unofficial transcript for review.
  • Be available 10–15 hours per week during the spring semester.
  • Possess strong communication, research, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in criminal law or the legal profession.
  • Please note, you are less likely to be considered if you have not completed at least two years in an undergraduate program.
