Data analysis (HLDI)

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the Highway Loss Data Institute are hiring interns in several disciplines for summer 2027. We are looking for undergraduate or graduate students who are excited to contribute to our mission of improving road safety.

Data analysis (HLDI)

The ideal candidate is interested in cars, technology, data, communications, research, or auto insurance. Dig into vehicle and insurance data, working alongside researchers studying how vehicles and technologies perform on the road. Resume collection is ongoing. Internship can be based in Ruckersville or Arlington, Virginia.

Internships are 10 weeks long. Housing is not provided. Hours and start/end dates are flexible. No benefits provided.

Must be authorized or able to obtain authorization to work full-time in the U.S. Position not eligible for IIHS-HLDI sponsored work visa.
