Data Analytics & Reporting Intern

Serve as a Data Analytics & Reporting Intern! We are looking for a junior or senior who is:

• Interested in Data Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• Has a heart for missions and cross-cultural ministry.
• Has an interest in using analytical skills to support cross-cultural ministry.

The OMS internship program is carefully designed to deepen your understanding of God’s heart for the nations and how we can make a lasting impact on the world through Christ. We are seeking Christ-centered individuals who are eager to use their God-given gifts, grow in their faith, and make Jesus known among the nations. ---

Job Responsibilities:

• Data mining, analysis, and migration.
• Process development, documentation, and training development.

Your role may also include:

• OMS Organizational Orientation.
• Planning and leading a presentation on your observations during their internship.
• Collaborate with OMS IT, Global Training Solutions Group, and Africa Operations Support Team.

Requirements:

• Coursework in Data Science, Information Systems, or Business Analytics.
• Exposure to coursework in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Data Science / Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering / Operations Research, or Technical Communication, Applied AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or AI-Assisted Productivity.
• Candidates should have a strong technical foundation in handling data structures, extracting insights, and moving data safely between systems.
• Able to observe complex tasks, map them into clear workflows, and teach others how to follow them.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
• Beneficial to have experience with Zoom and Trello.
• Comfortable with the Google Suite of tools and applications.
• Teachable, relational, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable both behind the scenes and in front of a group.

• Compensation: $10 an hour
• Housing: Included at OMS Headquarters

Optional: Short-term Mission Trip

Interns have the option to take a short-term mission trip during their paid internship. This is an incredible opportunity to visit an OMS field and serve alongside an OMS missionary team for 7-10 days. *Expenses for this trip must be raised by the intern; this trip is not paid for by One Mission Society.*
