About the role
Daura Center Graduate Intern
This paid graduate internship supports the Pierre Daura Curator of European Art in researching and organizing the Daura archive and collection. Interns also assist with broadening the museum's European art programming, including publications and acquisitions. Alongside your application, cover letter and résumé, please submit a writing sample of 10 to 20 pages for consideration.
*This position is not available to students already employed by the University of Georgia.*
Program Details
Internships at the museum:
- are approximately 8 to 10 hours per week (unless otherwise specified)
- are available to rising juniors, seniors and graduate students
- are paid ($13.50/hour for undergraduate students; $16/hour for graduate students)
- meet the Experiential Learning requirement at UGA (undergraduate internships only)
- are non-credit, but the student may obtain course credit through an internship course in their respective departments
- have a professional development component to learn from experts in the museum field and work on key professional skills
Application Deadlines
- The deadline to apply for spring semester internships is October 15
- The deadline to apply for summer semester internships is March 15
- The deadline to apply for fall semester internships is July 7
Fall semester internships run concurrent with the University of Georgia fall semester. Spring semester internships run concurrent with the spring semester. Summer semester internships run concurrent with the thru-session summer semester.
