Development Intern

Reports to the Senior Advancement Advisor.

Opportunity for a detail-oriented student interested in gaining experience in the non-profit public policy setting. The Development Intern (a candidate local to Orange County with 1x/week in-person availability preferred) will learn about and support key data management tasks in platforms such as Salesforce.

The Development Intern will also participate in donor outreach tasks including phone calls, mailings, and prospect research. Significant duties will include:

• Support data quality assurance by completing donor record clean up in main organizational databases,
• Assist with donor record standardization through various data entry projects,
• Support outreach mailings to targeted donor audiences via list development, review, and mailing preparation,
• Conduct donor outreach via phone calls as assigned,
• Complete donor research and writing projects as assigned,
• Provide other development project support as needed.
