IndieCade Staff Internships
IndieCade Staff Internships offer hands-on experience supporting the organization’s year-round operations, projects, and events. These part-time, remote positions provide an opportunity to contribute to the independent games community while developing professional skills in areas such as media, design, production, and communications. Interns may focus on a specific role or assist across multiple areas depending on their interests, experience, and availability.
All IndieCade internships are unpaid but can be arranged for academic credit. Discord Community Manager (Internship)
The intern will support the management and growth of IndieCade’s Discord community. This role focuses on improving server organization, enhancing community engagement, and supporting communication around IndieCade programs and events.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and moderate the IndieCade Discord server
- Streamline and restructure server channels, roles, and permissions
- Implementing and maintain Discord automations and bots
- Support initiatives to improve user experience and encourage community engagement
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Discord server management and moderation tools
- Experience with community engagement or online community management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
