About the job
DPT interns @ LWPT
Community
Our foundation is built on a commitment to connection– fostering joy, growth, and a lasting sense of belonging. Roughly 80% of our current team began their journey with us as patients, students, or aides– often all three. That shared history gives us a unique ability to understand and support one another, and a collective strength to our community. Our approach to professional development is deeply collaborative: from dedicated 1:1 coaching and mentorship, to continuing education both in-house and in the community, we invest in each other with purpose and intention.
EMPOWERMENT
We’re a team that believes in each other, and we pursue growth together. We're curious, optimistic, and committed to lifelong learning– not just as clinicians, but as people. Our culture is designed to help individuals thrive while making a broader impact. Through leadership development, supportive teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose, we’ve built a space where people evolve into confident, inclusive leaders. Each of our clinics participates in our teaching clinic program, mentoring DPT interns as CIs, and new grad PTs as experienced clinicians; many of our clinicians instruct in local PT and PTA programs, and lecture in community events as well. We don’t just want you to grow into a great physical therapist– we want you to become someone who uplifts others, too.
Rentention
Many of our team members have been with us for years– not because they have to, but because they’ve found meaningful work and strong support here. That kind of consistency matters, both to us and to the people we serve. Openings at LWPT are rare, but we believe in planting seeds early. Whether or not there’s a current role available, we want to connect. Because more often than not, shadows and aides become interns, and interns become our newest clinicians– the next generation of our profession.
Continuing Education.
We dedicate ourselves to cultivating a nurturing environment that encourages growth and enhances well-being. Through our initiatives in employee leadership and support, we are forging an inclusive and purpose-oriented organization. Our aspiration is to serve as the hub where individuals converge to nurture their development and evolve as inclusive leaders making a positive impact on the world.
