DVM Externship Opportunity

DVM Externship

*“It’s not just a shadow experience at Bingle Vet, it’s a hands-on mentorship!”*

— Andrew Tesh, DVM

Veterinary students are highly encouraged to join Bingle Vet’s externship program as multiple extern positions are available in the Houston metropolitan area. Our focus is on helping 3rd and 4th year veterinary students build confidence. For the most rewarding externship experience, we would like to see veterinary students perform all the duties of a DVM under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian. We believe students should not only shadow one of our highly experienced veterinarians, but also be able to get hands-on experience. An externship with Bingle Vet is sure to help prepare you for the real world. Bingle Vet will work with your College of Veterinary Medicine to ensure that our program falls within their guidelines.

We believe that the benefits received from this program are a direct reflection of the efforts put forth by the student. We expect our externship students to show up on time, put in 40 hours a week, ask questions, be hands-on and promote our 10-points of culture. If you are looking for a veterinary externship to help prepare you with becoming the new local community veterinarian apply today.
