Working closely with cross-functional teams in both business and technical areas, the Intern will contribute to project work, analyze information, and support the development of solutions that address organizational needs. The Intern is responsible for learning and applying specific aspects of the organization's processes, programs, and technologies while demonstrating increasing independence and ownership of assigned deliverables.### * This ten-week paid internship can be located in Chicago, IL or Downers Grove, IL * What Are Your Responsibilities? Business Analyst Interns are responsible for actively participating in HCSC’s formal internship program that leverages your skills, knowledge, and capabilities while providing meaningful experience supporting business objectives and member-focused solutions.

Working closely with cross-functional teams in both business and technical areas, the Systems Analyst Intern will contribute to project work, analyze information, and support the development of solutions that address organizational needs. The Business Analyst Intern is responsible for learning and applying specific aspects of the organization's processes, programs, and technologies while demonstrating increasing independence and ownership of assigned deliverables. This role will also need to: * Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager. * Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations that inform real business decisions. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience. * Develop and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations. * Maintain complete confidentiality of company business and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies.

What Do You Need To Be Successful?* * * Prior related technical internship or work experience is a plus * Volunteerism or leadership experience is a plus * Involvement in IT related Associations/Organizations or participation in relevant technical competitions is a plus * Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree with an interest in the healthcare payer industry or beginning a career in IT * Eagerness to learn, grow and contribute * Demonstrated interpersonal skills including clear and concise verbal and written communication * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and an ability to grasp new and unfamiliar concepts * Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and support multiple projects * Practical, developed PC skills, especially Office 365 and virtual team collaboration tools *(MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.) * What Are the
