Editorial Intern As an Editorial Intern, you will be part of a storytelling team focusing on topic areas, such as D.C. area arts and humanities and Latine cultural initiatives, social and environmental justice, the Afro-Latino

Experience and more. During story lab, you and your team will conduct interviews and work together to produce and publish articles, investigative reports, podcasts and other media. You should have a strong interest in pursuing a career in journalism or a related communication field.

SPEL Opportunities We recruit for our online Storytelling Program for Experiential Learning (SPEL) program three times a year (spring, summer and fall). The 2026 fall semester will run from September 22 to December 1, 2026. SPEL meets remotely every Tuesday for professional development trainings and collaborative story lab time.

To be considered, you must be available for these weekly Zoom meetings.
