Responsibilities
- Ship real features and fixes that reach production, not toy projects or busywork.
- Work across the stack: Go backend, PostgreSQL database, and React frontend as needed.
- Write tests that match the risk level of the code you are changing.
- Participate in code review and learn from direct feedback on your work.
- Help improve developer tooling, documentation, and local development workflows.
- Take ownership of well-scoped projects and see them through to completion.
You might be a fit if
- You build things on your own time. Side projects, open source, class projects that went beyond the assignment.
- You are comfortable reading and writing code in at least one of Go, TypeScript, or Python.
- You have used a relational database and understand basic SQL, schemas, and migrations.
- You are curious about distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or infrastructure.
- You prefer learning by doing over learning by watching.
- You care about the details. Clean code, clear naming, consistent formatting.
