The Opportunity
As an Engineering Technician Summer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world's most critical infrastructure challenges. Chosen candidates will be located in (or relocate to) Overland Park (KS), Ann Arbor (MI), Bloomington (MN), Chattanooga (TN), Dallas (TX), Denver (CO), Houston (TX), Orlando (FL), Raleigh (NC), or Tualatin (OR)
Duties may include
- As a Intern, you will work with the Virtual Design & Data Solutions Team and serve as a resource for an assigned function: Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical.
- Utilize drafting and modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit
- Meet budget and scheduling restraints

Minimum Qualifications
Current enrollment in a 2 or 4 year Engineering Technology program. No experience required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Work Environment
This intern position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis.
