Manic Kat Records is an independent punk label that aims to put the artists first. We work closely with our bands every step of the way to help make their music everything it can be and more. In an industry that models itself off of major record labels, which signs musicians based on “hits,” we aim to create an environment for our artists to grow and develop into the best musical versions of themselves.

Summary In the Entrepreneur and Investor Relations Internship, you will support the organization in its efforts to secure funding and build strong investor relationships.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you will utilize core skills in financial analysis and communication to assist in the preparation of presentations and research on potential investors. Additionally, relevant skills in public relations and financial services will enhance our outreach and engagement efforts. Join us to make a significant impact in our fundraising initiatives.

Responsibilities Conduct research to support fundraising efforts and investor relations initiatives. Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders, showcasing investment opportunities and financial performance. Assist in the preparation of press releases and public relations materials.

Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for investment management and corporate finance. Stay updated on market trends to inform decision-making processes.

Experience with equity research Ability to conduct thorough research and deliver presentations Familiarity with financial statement preparation
