About the role
George Mason Waste/Recycle is interested in hiring a Student Intern for Summer 2026. The tasks will include data entry from invoices into Energy Cap from various vendors that the University works with.
- Data Entry
- Platform training: Asset Essentials, Big Belly Dashboard
- Composting,
- Campus wide labeling
- Sorting Recycle
- Working with Neurodiverse population
- Collecting dept. historical data for diversion rate
- Campus mapping of Victor Stanley co locations (FFX Campus, HRL, Sci - Tech, Mason Square)
Program Details
- 12-week program: May 24 - Aug 13, 2027
- 30 Hours a week: a weekly schedule will be set by intern supervisors
- $17/hour: paid biweekly
Main Requirements
- Degree-seeking rising sophomores through rising seniors
- Interns will need to complete an end-of-program presentation
- Interns will participate in program activities, lectures, and outings
Students who require internship credits must work with their schools and advisors to finalize the paperwork.
