FIELD ENGINEER

Position Title: Field Engineer Location (s):Company Office Location: 2390 South Lipan Street, Denver, CO 80223 Worksite Location: 5020 C.R. 154, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Multiple Positions Open Job Duties: Supervise exploratory borings, prepare logs of subsurface conditions and select samples for laboratory testing and perform laboratory and field testing. Prepare input into engineering drawings and perform calculations, project specific scope and fee proposals based on customers’ needs. Generate data and present information for geotechnical studies and findings after reviewing site conditions, drilling logs, and laboratory data.

Review and follow engineering projects from proposal development through completion, including construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project site. All work under the supervision of professional engineer. Occasional construction site visits, as needed, to help identify issues and provide our clients with workable solutions.

Perform engineering analysis to develop project specific geotechnical recommendations under supervision of professional engineer. Provide input into engineering proposals to comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations. Develop and maintain client relationships.

Requirements: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering Minimum Experience: None Special Requirements:Coursework in Geology for Engineers, Geotechnical Engineering, & Soil Mechanics. Travel Requirement: Travel to unanticipated worksites up to 10% of time within Colorado
